NFT Staking

The process of locking NFTs in a program to earn rewards, typically in the form of a project's token. Staking programs verify NFT ownership and collection membership, track staking duration, and distribute rewards proportionally. On Solana, NFT staking is commonly implemented using Metaplex's freeze delegate or by transferring the NFT to a program-controlled escrow account. Rewards incentivize holding over flipping.
