Stale prices can lead to incorrect liquidations, mispriced trades, or exploitable arbitrage. Solana DeFi protocols must check the timestamp of oracle updates and reject or pause operations when prices exceed a staleness threshold (e.g., 30 seconds for Pyth feeds).
