Routing (Swap)

The process of finding the optimal path for a swap across multiple DEX pools and intermediate tokens. A router may split a single swap into multiple routes (e.g., 60% through Orca, 40% through Raydium) or use multi-hop paths (e.g., SOL→USDC→mSOL) to achieve better pricing. Jupiter's Metis algorithm computes routes in real-time.
